Day
1: Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
Depart by train for Heidelberg, the old University town on
the banks of River Neckar, where your local guide is waiting
to take you on your city walk including a visit to the inner
courtyard of Heidelberg Castle. Afterwards time for own activities.
In the late afternoon return to Frankfurt.
Day
2: Frankfurt - Rothenburg
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the
Spessart mountains to Wurzburg. Continue on the Romantic Road
to Rothenburd o.d. Tauber, Germany's well-preserved "Jewel
of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town
hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous
wood-carver Tilmann Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg,
a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening
join the city walk with local guide or historic Night Watchman
in Rothenburg.
Day
3: Rothenburg - Hohenschwangau
Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you
at the your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach
drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places
as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth,
with high-gabled houses and cobbled streets. Via Augsburg,
a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trade
dynasties during Middle Ages, you reach Hohenschwangau (Füssen).
Day
4: Hohenschwangau - Munich
In the morning pick-up your entrance tickets for the Neuschwanstein
Castle at the front desk of your hotel and visit the famous
"Cinderella Castle", built by King Ludwig II. In
the late afternoon proceed to Munich where the tour ends at
approx. 7 pm.

3: Augsburg - Munich
Morning free for own activities. At 02:00 pm join the daily
city walk, starting at the City Hall. See all the important
sights of Augsburg, which was a metropolis during the Roman
times and famous for old trading dynasties (the Fuggers).
In the late afternoon Board the coach to Munich, arrival there
at about 08:00 pm.
Day
4: Munich - Zugspitze - Munich
In the morning please take the train from Munich train station
to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From there you take a cable car
up to Germany's highest peak. Enjoy the breathtaking view
from Zugspitze. In the afternoon you will travel back to Munich
by train.
Day
5: Munich
Tour ends with breakfast
